iTribute to Steve Jobs


Like any other day after my evening walk, I turned my eyes into CNN website to catch up on the latest news and Today’s top news was terribly shocking,The news of sad demise of Steve Jobs.

It was a tragic news .This man was always in news(for good reasons) and very recently for stepping down as Apple CEO. He surprised people by stepping down as CEO and even more surprised with his sudden death ! Just a day before his death on 4th Oct,There were rumours going around that Steve would make it to the Apple conference..My strong instinct always said that the person of his stature who never hogged for the limelight will not make it to the event and steal the show..He was that sensitive and matured enough..no one had thought that he was in last days of his life..

Death is something we all know is coming,but it again and again catches us by surpise..It was known fact that Steve was unwell and he got down from CEO post due to health reasons..But no one would have expected death to come this soon for this man..He surprised one and all by stepping down as CEO,he Surprised more by his sudden death !

So true…It doesn’t matter how long you live but what you achieve matters the most. What you give it back to society matters. How influential,visionary and role model you are to the society matters. Steve Jobs was a true leader. He has inspired millions and has left a massive empire behind.

What is inspiring is Steve took an unconventional path and still succeeded.Dropping out of college,sleeping on the floor,free meals at Hare krishna temple are few instances but these never distracted his vision to succeed in life. This is the mark of a true leader. Steve said then ” “If I had never dropped in on that single calligraphy course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts.”

Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

 
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of use who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.RIP Steve..
